Daphne Gadd BSc ARCM QTS
I'm a musician and music teacher living in Ivybridge, South Devon. I started playing the piano when I was 5 and the flute when I was 11. I also play the recorder, clarinet and saxophone, but the flute remains my favourite instrument. I teach the flute to diploma level and piano, clarinet and saxophone to grade 5. I teach in schools and privately and I have full CRB clearance. |

| My training is mainly classical but I enjoy playing all kinds of music. My performance experience includes playing in small ensembles, wind bands and symphony orchestras as well as solo work. I also play and teach piccolo and alto flute. |
| I love playing and I love passing on my enjoyment of music to the pupuls I teach. I find it very rewarding to work in depth with grade 8 and diploma level students on technique and interpretation and to explore the rich flute repertoire with them. Equally I get a great deal of pleasure from introducing beginners to the joys of playing. | ||
